This has been a blessing for us. My daughter has anxiety and SPD. She wears the vest when she’s feeling anxious and she says it feels like a tight hug and keeps her relaxed. It runs a little small. She’s slim and tall and fits her snugged but not tight. If your child is a little chubby, consider sizing up.

My 7 year old with ADHD does not like the pressure, thus did not prefer the vest, so it's all dependent on your child's sensory needs. If they like weighted blankets and stuffies, the vest could be a great option for them. Especially since weighted stuffies are easily put down and lost in play and weighted blankets can be difficult to carry around during play. The vest allows them to move around more easily while calming their nervous system with their preferred pressure input!

This is a great weighted vest for children! The size small fits my 5-year-old and 2 year old grandchildren perfect because it can adjust in size and comfort. The kids love that they can change how tightly it fits them.
I got each kid a closing ottoman seat and put their vest inside along with a grumpy monkey stuffed animal, some noise canceling headphones, a drawing tablet, and a soft lightweight imitation rabbit fur cuddle, a sensory chew necklace and three different kinds of fidgets. Often with prompting and more and more on their own, when they feel any type of over-stimulation or under-stimulation they can go grab what they need out of there bucket to help regulate themselves.
When they put their vests on I can see a noticeable difference in how relaxed and grounded they appear almost immediately.
